I don't exactly know how to describe the smell but it's more like coconut with butter. Luckily I liked it, or else never knew if I would have used it ever again. Scent is unbelievably strong and doesn't leave your hair even after 3 days. The only complain I have about this product is it's strong scent. I use this product once a week after my hair wash on damp hair and that's all it takes to make my hair retrieve it's natural glow. Not just that, it moisturizes my curls so that they loose all the frizz and stay set in their place. But now I am happy I chose to do that, as after every use it leaves my hair smoother and shinier and keeps my curls bouncier even after 5 days of hair wash. It's very costly for a college going girl like me and I am about to spend a fortune on this, but I had to try something as the quality of my hair strands is deteriorating. When I saw this product online, I wasn't sure if I should order it.

I opted for sulfate free, paraben free products to improve my hair condition. That's when I changed all my hair products. This made my hair lose it's natural texture and curls.

And then when I started using a conditioner available on market, though it made my hair smooth, my curls fell off flat just a day after the usage. In addition to all that, my poor maintenance lead to breakage of my hair because of formation of excessive knots. It's curly and way different than all my friend's hair and I used to get many compliments from friends and family on how smooth my curls are, how cool it's to have curly hair etc etc.īut this pollution, my daily chores and traveling has taken a toll on my hair. I am growing my hair out as i have for the first time, found a product that makes me feel confident of having longer hair - without the curls going out of control and frizzy I had also ordered some other deep moisturizing oil - but the butter is definitely much better. In case curls start loosing their bounce, i moisten the hair slightly (when having my usual shower) and then apply the butter. Both works - hair remains curly and soft for a couple of days. I use it after my wash on towel dried moist hair and sometimes between washes (on dry hair).

The Cantu shea butter definitely keeps the hair moisturized and curly. But curls lasted only a day and then hair was frizzy and 'going in all directions' and messy. My 'sort of moisturizing' routine so far consisted of slathering plenty of oil on my hair (coconut / olive / sesame - whatever was around) and keeping it on for about half an hour and then washing off with just one time shampooing so some oil remained, keeping the curls slightly oiled. Tysm cantu! I'm gonna try hair gels from this brand too, hopefully it gives similar results 🤞❤️💫 It smells like tropical juice (which I LOVEEE and the smell stays on for so longg) So if I you asked me whether you should buy it or nah, id say HELL YES!! Go for it!! The best product for curly hair no cap! This product is my holy grail, seriously trust me and go ahead.

(Also note, I didn't use a gel or any other products except for an oil before shower, Bblunt shampoo and conditioner and this hair cream, I am planning on expanding my hair routine and adding a diffuser, a leave in conditioner and a gel soon! Will update yall with the end results and mention all the products used) Idk how I got the quantity right in just the first try, but all I know is I'm a life-long customer from now on! And on the right are my results on the first time applying the product, the most beautiful hair day I've ever had, my hair was so voluminous and bouncy, the amount of compliments I received from everyone around me in opposition to the mostly negative comments I used to receive about my frizzy straight hair. I started looking into curl creams and gels and this was one I got the vibe from (sounds cheesy I know 💀 but I trust my intuition ) so I bought it. This product has worked such wonders for my hair and transformed it into these huge curls that look just.Amazing!! On the pic attached, the left is the before, aka when I discovered my hair wasn't frizzy straight and started the cgm, which to me at the time was just cgm approved shampoo and conditioner and not brushing my hair, which kinda helped in forming these small curls, but then I discovered that silicones and sulphates work wonders for me in giving me soft, light, free flowing hair, and then my journey of self-curl-discoveration started a haircut and multiple shampoos and conditioners later I realized that shampoo and conditioner aren't the only 2 steps of a curly-head.
